Characteristics of graphene materials
Graphene is a new material characterized by a hexagonal honeycomb lattice formed by a single layer of carbon atoms closely packed together. It boasts remarkable properties such as ultra-thinness (with a thickness of only 1 mm yet capable of being layered into 3 million sheets), ultra-lightness, and extraordinary strength. It exhibits outstanding thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, and mechanical performance. 1) Foam Coverage: Quickly generates a large volume of foam with dense bubbles. Modified graphene significantly enhances the strength of the foam walls, endowing the foam with stability and resistance to breakage even in the harsh conditions of a fire scene. Combustion Elements and Fire Extinguishing Methods
Combustion is a phenomenon that arises from the combined action of four key elements: fuel, oxygen, heat, and free radicals. The chain reaction formed by these four combustion factors begins when combustible materials and oxygen, upon being heated or exposed to light, lose their stability and generate free radicals. As intermediate species in the combustion reaction, free radicals, under the influence of heat, give rise to even more free radicals, thereby sustaining and perpetuating the combustion process and ultimately leading to stable combustion.
